Okay here is my workout for today! I know I said I would start Insanity on Monday but my life got busy! So I’ve kicked it off today! Day one with pure cardio instead of the fit test! Love it. But omg so hard! I’ve been out of the shower for an hour and my cheeks are still red. Lol!
Here is my workout from yesterday I did pure cardio. Whew! I love some cardio. I was drenched. I am still planning on day one being on Monday because I’m sore! I’m going to walk Basil or do yoga today. Day on insanity Monday! Who’s with me!? Haha anyone? :D
This is the first for real workout I did. I went and hung a ton of lights at work. I went up and down and up and down the scaffolding. I hung lights and took lights down and focused lights. It was a for real moment for fearlessness. I had a sexy safety harness though so no worries. Lots of working over my head and hauling lights up the pulley and down the pulley. Whew we worked like six of hours. The stage looks great but I am beat! No real coughing. So I think I’m on the mend now for a nap!
I was cleared to workout if it didn’t make me cough I did a mile walk with basil to try it out. I didn’t cough till I was finished. Boy I do need to work on my lung capacity though! Yuck I was so out of breath! I think I will do walks this week and some turbofire next week then restart insanity the following week or at least see how that goes. I’ve been mighty sick for over 3 weeks now! Yuck! If only I can get this cough to go away. Time will tell. Soon soon I think I’m on the road to recovery.
I live sorta. I’ve been sick since Feb 13th. Ugh! I had laryngitis, sinus infection and a cough plus a cold. Then I got sick again and got a chest infection and a terrible cough that I still have. I can’t do insanity until this cough clears up since its deep in my chest but I’d I don’t start doing something I am going to go crazy! Honestly! So I went on a Walk with Basil. I need to get better ice been battling this cold for almost a month now. It’s crazy! Here’s homing I’m on the mend for good!
This is my workout for yesterday and Thursday I’ve been so busy! Yikes! But I’ve also been held back by the fact that I need new shoes for Insanity like 4 weeks ago. I ordered like 8 pairs from Zappos but they didn’t work as well as the pair I had from Asics which were out of stock! Ugh! But when I went to look for more shoes I saw they came back in stock yay! So I’m waiting for those to come in the mail. Good news is that It thawed out I was able to walk my dog since it was above 32 for the first time in weeks! Yay! So I did that while waiting for my new shoes.
So this was today’s workout! A brutal Max Plyometric Intervals. Hands down Insanity’s hardest workout. But good news is I am better at it now than when I finished round one in December Which means I’m stronger! Also I’m already massive sore from this workout! Ouch good thing I’m taking. A rest day tomorrow!
Here is my workouts for today and Yesterday! I did The last Core Cardio and Balance scheduled for my rest & recovery week then today I kicked off Month 2 of Insanity Round 2 with Max Intervals. I’d like to say it was a breeze but it wasn’t. Still super hard! And on top of that my feet hurt! I think I need new insanity shoes. Sad! 29 days to go!
I should totally be more careful walking at night! On Monday I was walking to my car after Rehearsal and I fell into a drain? Hole thing in the parking lot of work. I was holding my laptop and to save it I fell onto my knees and skinned my knee and twisted my ankle a little, not bad, but a little. Overall my pride was hurt. My knee looks like I’m 7. Im in rest in recovery week for Insanity anyway so it’s okay. I take R&R week very seriously. I rested Monday and Tuesday and decided to try the core cardio balance, which I modified some of the one legged jumps. I will rest again tomorrow and Sat and maybe Sunday then be Ready to hit the ground running for month 2 of Insanity! This time looking for magic portals that spring in front of me while I’m walking and not trip in them and pull my ankle! Or at least that’s the plan!
